New Blog And Feed Title
Sorry to disrupt your sense of all that's right in the universe, but I felt compelled to redesign the blog a bit.
You'll note the new title. More on that in a bit.
If you're a feed subscriber, the old Atom/RSS feed address should still work, namely:
http://franksellin.blogspot.com/atom.xml
However, if you're using the feed through Feedburner.com, you may need a new address, and that is:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/FrankSellin
EDIT: Note the change to the Feedburner address - I've removed the title of the blog there, so that your Feedburner feed won't move if I decide to edit the title of the blog at some time in the distant future.
If either of these are not working for you, let me know ASAP through the comment section to this post, and I'll see if I can fix it. You may have to right-click your RSS / feed icon in your browser or in your news aggregator, and change the information in the Properties tab manually.

So, why the new title? Truth be told, I get bored easily, and "Frank's RamPage" was no longer putting a grin on my face or saying what I wanted it to say. You may remember me mentioning a change needed in it, months ago. I finally made a decision that it needed to go.
"Burglary Of The Mushrooms," on the other hand, is a phrase that has always stuck with me since I ran across it in Romania. In Romanian, the phrase is jaf în ciuperci. More precisely, Atâta jaf în ciuperci!
Meaning roughly, "It's not that big a disaster!" "Small problem, small consequences..." Followed by a resigned wave of one's hand.
Cute and colorful enough, at any rate, for me to wear it with interest for a good while, as I enjoy the humor of taking it too literally. Especially since I don't think I'll be getting around to writing a book to slap that title on anytime soon.
So I hope it works for you. And, why not, it may also capture some sense of plans gone awry by (self-)important people of our present history - and having the blogosphere catch them at moments of beautiful ineptitude.

Well, I for one love the title "Burglary of the Mushrooms" and cannot wait to use it in class to confuse the hell out of my students.

In other news, as I feared, changing the feed titles appears to have cost me what subscribers I had. At least, for the last two days. Maybe they'll figure it out. :-7

Give me the Romanian pronunciation of "burglary of the mushrooms" and I'll give it a whirl. Half my students can't understand me anyway; if I started speaking Romanian I doubt they'd notice anything.
Well, since you asked...hope you have Central European fonts enabled on your browser!
Remember to pronounce all your vowels the European way: a = ah (e.g., father), e = eh, i = ee, o = oh, u = oo (as in food). And individual vowels not dragged out or turned into diphthongs the way we silly Americans do.
Romanian, however, is vowel-happy, that is, full of diphthongs and even triphthongs.
So, pronunciation:
jaf --> "zhaf"
în --> more or less like the English "in", though not quite (the vowel î is too hard to describe here)
ciuperci --> cheeyoo-PEHRCH (with a little unvocalized breath of air for the i on the end of the word)
So: "zhaf in cheeyoo-PEHRCH."
If you want to add "Atâta" to the front of the phrase, â = î (and for that matter, "Atâta" = "Atât" - the extra "a" is just a spoken variant of the word, possibly to enable flow between two consonants) , such that:
Atâta = ah-TIT-ah.
Wasn't that fun?
I'm just proud you're bringing Romanian sounds to the hinterlands of American Georgia. :D
